If you are like me, and despise combing out your hair, during or after a shower, you must look into a Wet Brush Pro. Hands down, the best detangling brush I have found so far. The flexible, and elongated bristle’s easily detangle the hair, without causing breakage.
I always recommend applying a leave-on conditioner to the hair, before, you even attempt to untangle the hair from a shower. One of my favorites is Pinstripe from R+Co. Start brushing it out, working from the bottom up, so you do not cause any breakage. It’s also the perfect accessory to keep in the shower, to brush that conditioning mask through… You know, the one you should be doing as a treatment once a week. Take care of that hair ladies! Do you have any tricks that you found to detangle your hair?
Awhile back, I had a blast working with Kelly from Mimosas Manhattan for a photo shoot. I colored her hair adding some blonde highlights for extra pop around her face and then we came up with this amazing braid, that has a half up – half down feel to it. It gave the illusion of wearing the hair down, adding softness with an edge. Girl can take some fierce photos.. Check out more of her blog and this photo shoot here.
