Get your most beneficial rest, while beautifying as you sleep. Use those precious hours of rest, to hydrate your skin and wake up with a luminous glow.
I recently discovered this Pearl Sleeping mask by Sephora. It does wonders to plump up your skin and add to a dewy complexion for the A.M. Apply it to freshly washed damp skin, right before bed to lock in moisture and add hydration.
As a stylist, I feel as though my hands are always dry. To combat this, I swear by using Neutrogena’s Norwegian hand cream. This humectant rich cream, is perfect to apply right before bed as it can be a touch heavy. Let it really work it’s magic by applying a dime size over hands and popping some thick gloves on while you sleep. This allows the cream to fully absorb into your skin.
Up your H2o intake to help hydrate your body from the inside out!
Cleaning my makeup brushes has never been as easy as it is now, using Parian Spirit. I almost find it relaxing and therapeutic… if that doesn’t sound weird enough. Rather than swirl my brushes around endlessly, trying to make the brushes clean and the steam of water clear, this quick solution cleans, disinfects and conditions the brushes all in one. Super easy and with a fresh citrus scent, I would recommend having this triple threat on hand. Read more about it here.
My newest nail obsession, is Smith & Cult. I came across the line, working in the Hampton’s last summer and have been hooked ever since. Their exclusive 5-free formula, is formulated without Dibutyl, Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor, making it a great option to throw into the mix. Admittedly, I will do gel on my nails when I know my schedule will be crazy or I will be traveling, as the longevity is insane. This polish is great to come back to though, as I feel like I can give my nails a break from a lot of the added chemicals found in other polish lines. The packaging is super cute, and although the nail polish top is a bit heavy, it actually makes it easy to apply the polish. The durability is great, and I am usually able to get a good two weeks out of a manicure.. that says a whole lot, being that my hands are always in water.
A bit of a splurge at $18 a pop, it’s totally worth it for the great coverage, shine and 5-free formula. With it’s playful names, Stockholm Syndrome has been my go-to color as of lately. I’m going to to add the Kundalini Hustle, a fun poppy red, into the rotation soon! Check all of the shades out here.
If you don’t know about RMS Makeup, an organic and natural beauty line.. now you do. It nourishes and cares for the skin, as it is described as “skincare with mineral color.” All of the products are derived from food grade and organic ingredients that promote luminosity and hydration. This is the makeup for the everyday woman and the one I reach for when I am being good to my skin. It’s hard to find a makeup line that is non toxic and works wonders, but this one is both. I love the “Un” Cover-Up, a coconut oil based foundation and concealer in one, that helps to rejuvenate the skin. I then set the look with the “Un” Powder which is free of talc, silicone, perfume, and paraben’s to give a silky finish to my skin. Known for the perfect added highlight, living luminizer is probably their most talked about product, and rightfully so, as it is the perfect combination of a sheer glow with a “satin-pearl” finish.
